12” long plant stake

I got the large copper wrap and these are very sturdy. I used one for an indoor plant and the others for planters I have on a balcony. Do these need to have direct sunlight?

No they do not need to have sunlight on them. It is fine if the plant grows bigger than the stake and blocks the light.

Trying to see if this works and makes my plants grow.
